AFF Series filters are best suited for pre-filtering an air distribution system where the units large filtration surface assures longer filter element life and lower pressure drop. It is generally placed after the compressor and before the air distribution system.

The significance of this type of porting function is "visual" safety. When the valve is "CLOSED," the pressure from the "downstream" side of the valve is exhausted and, if a pressure gauge is used in the gauge port, it will show the absence of pressure.

Pressure Switch: The pressure switch is mounted to a "Y" type spacer
that can be used with existing brackets or clamps.
